About
Andrea Lee
Founder, Managing Attorney
Born and raised in Washington State, Andrea received both her Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor in Washington and is licensed under the Washington State Bar Association.
Andrea received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2017, where she was a member of the Washington International Law Journal and Immigration Law Clinic. She was also awarded the Public Interest Law Association Grant for her time providing legal services to low income and homeless individuals. Before law school, Andrea graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Seattle Pacific University.
Her experience in immigration law began in 2016 and her passion continues to grow for the field and people. Andrea started with family-based petitions, working with newlyweds and families within and outside the U.S. She then moved into a role managing employment-based cases, working with HR to maintain various visa statuses for employees and their families.
Ultimately, Andrea’s dedication to her family and community led her to open Genesis Immigration Law, PLLC. Born to immigrants herself, the immigrant community is close to heart. Providing immigration expertise is more than a profession; it’s an opportunity to offer insight and clarity and to connect with people as they embark on new journeys.
